How bimatoprost works?

It is a difficult issue, made by most of the questions on bimatoprost. While the FDA has approved this new type of therapy, there is a very little information on exactly how bimatoprost is working. Bimatoprost's active ingredient  (a lipid compound) is known as a structural analogue of prostaglandin. Its effect is observed in the shape of the binding of prostaglandin (PG) receptors. It is believed that the effect of bimatoprost with those PG receptors that are potentially responsible for the growth process of hair follicles.
